Inez and I just saw this movie :)
It's really funny. Since it moves in the shadow of Shrek, it really can't hope to dazzle and delight with the same high laugh-per-minute count that previous Dreamworks comedies offer. But it was a great comedy! The music and dialogue are spot-on, and, the comedic timing of Le Frog and evil villain "The Toad," had me guffawing all over the couch.
I can't give it four stars solely because I don't like the design of the lead characters very much. So it's a very worthy 3.5 out of 5 stars for me.
