When I discovered that I had a four hour break between the lessons I'd be teaching at berlitz, I rushed liked a madman to the greenbelt cinemas. My heart was pounding with unreserved excitement; every step path, doorway, escalator and shop between me and the theatre was little more than a blur. I was on a warpath to my seat, drawn by the indefatigable force of anticipation, the sheer need for good film, and the fact that 300, as a graphic novel, stands second to none.
on the way to greenbelt, i sent random text messages to people who might be as crazy as i, and of the throng i invited, only ken showed up ready to splurge on unhealthy food, soda, and the euphoria of a magnificent story.
and we were not disappointed.
you need to go to the cinema, and watch this film now. and go easy on the drinks... you do not want to miss a millisecond of this film :D
